Hawaii Travel Tips
Going a year without travel was difficult for us as our company focuses on seeing the world and creating unique experiences. We are so delighted to see people adventuring again, so we thought we would give some tips on your next big vacation. A few months back, we safely headed to Hawaii and forgot how much we missed the whole experience traveling brings. If you and your loved ones are suiting up for a Hawaiian Islands vacation sometime soon, here are some of our best tips and tricks you can use to enhance your tropical getaway!
1) Try as much local fair as you can
We definitely love a swanky night out, but Hawaii has a vast number of locally owned spots that you must check out when you are on the island. Our favorites on Hualalai include Ulu Sushi House and Beachtree Restaurant.
2) Save your luau night
Wait until the end of your trip to experience it. We like leaving the island on a high note, and going to a luau is what always seals a great vacation for us.
3) Try to stick to one island (if you can!)
Obviously, Hawaii has a number of islands, each boasting their own amazing culture and climate. With travel restrictions still enforced, however, plan to stay on one island and make the most out of your time there.
4) Research beaches before you head out
Each island has a plethora of amazing sites to see, and that obviously includes a vast number of beaches to visit. Try to pick at least 3 beaches to visit while you are on the island.
5) Remember to bring lots of sunscreen and make sure itβs reef safe!
A number of sunscreens have an ingredient called oxybenzone in them that is harmful to the overall health and wellness of coral reefs. Many scuba and snorkeling excursions will have reef safe sunscreen for you to purchase, but try to bring your own as well.
We hope these 5 tips help you navigate your next big trip to the beautiful island of Hawaii.
