Homeboy Industries is one of the largest programs regarding gang rehabilitation and re-entry in the Los Angeles area. The program aims to help men and women who were either recently incarcerated or involved in gangs to re-enter society and become a contributing member of the community. Homeboy Industries has gained so much traction since their beginnings in 1988 and has been the blueprint for so many other amazing organizations that span out worldwide. The Global Homeboy Network is made up of these like-minded programs that are committed to impacting and improving the lives of their community members.
