Our Top 3 Restaurants in Maui

Each Hawaiian island has it’s own unique culture and a wide variety of restaurants. The illustrious island of Maui is known for its sweet and aromatic mangoes, fresh produce, free-range meats, daily caught seafood, and their buttery smooth avocados. We chose our top 3 favorites restaurants we think everyone visiting Maui would enjoy. Whether you’re a foodie, a culinary enthusiast, or just looking for a bite to eat, these eateries can do no wrong. We have also added some honorable mentions to the list. We cannot wait for you to try all of these restaurants on your next trip to Maui. Happy travels!

1) Mama’s Fish House

Voted most popular and the number one restaurant in Maui, we couldn’t not include Mama’s Fish House on our list. Enjoy the daily catches of seafood and a delectable cocktail with soft, tropical ocean breezes at this intimate dining experience. Mama’s feels like home away from home and is our go-to lunch spot when we visit Paia or are on the way to Road to Hana. You will not regret coming to this restaurant especially with its gracious service.

2) Spago

Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea

Located within the harmonious and naturally beautiful Four Seasons Maui, Spago is casually elegant with its Asian-inspired contemporary design. Spago offers a great selection of international wines along with refreshing classic Hawaiian drinks, so your party is bound to enjoy a night out on the town. The intimate dining area has incredible ocean views of the Lanai, as well. This is a luxurious experience that you will not want to miss out on.

3) Merriman’s

Kapalua Resort
1 Bay Club Pl, Lahaina, HI 96761
(808) 669-6400

With one of the most breathtaking oceanfront views on the Kapalua Resort, Merriman’s serves farm-to-table dishes. Chef Peter, a pioneer of the “farm-to-table” concept, emphasizes the sustainable practices of all Merriman’s product and chooses to only use and cook the freshest foods the island has to offer. The open-air and outdoor grill make this the perfect romantic dinner venue, which is why we recommend eating here during the sunset with a deliciously crafted cocktail in hand.
